With a more practical purpose, the Demo Session has emphasis on demonstrating systems and tools, on the experience of development, deployment and usage issues, and also on the perspectives created by them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event will be held in Gramado, as part of the activities of the 37th Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (SBRC 2019).<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><strong>Topics of Interest<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All papers that present systems and tools that can contribute to knowledge advancement in distributed systems and computer networks are of interest to the SBRC Demo Session. style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tools must be described in a paper to be submitted electronically through the <a href=\"https:\/\/jems.sbc.org.br\/home.cgi?c=3185\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">JEMS system<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Papers can be written in Portuguese or English and submitted in PDF format only. Each paper is limited to 8 pages, including an abstract (in Portuguese and English, for papers in Portuguese), figures, diagrams, references, and appendices. Papers must be formatted according to the SBC template.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The paper should contain the following information:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Description and motivation of the problem addressed by the tool;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Architectural solution and description of the main features;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">URL where the tool is available (the source code together with its license must be present in this URL, not just the binary);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">URL of the manuals and documentation regarding the tool;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">URL with a video describing its installation and the functionalities of the tool;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Description of the demonstration planned for SBRC, informing the equipment necessary to do so.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The above information, as well as the actual existence of the specified URLs, are mandatory for the evaluation of the submitted papers. The mandatory video aims to assist the reviewers and readers who, for any reason, have difficulty while installing and\/or using the tool. We recommend using a free website, such as YOUTUBE or VIMEO.<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><strong>Demo Requirements<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Demo Session focuses on experimental data and functional systems\/tools which are available for use. Even though ongoing work is also accepted, it must be possible to demonstrate the tool and a URL in which the documentation together with a video on how to install it must be already available at the paper submission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All accepted tools should be demonstrated in stands and also presented in the conventional format of technical sessions.<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><strong>Review<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The evaluation process will take into account the quality, relevance, and innovation of the practical results, the documentation of the tool, the video, the submitted paper and the statement of demonstration proposed to the SBRC 2019 Demo Session.
